Debuting in 2026 in Region 3: Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri & Wisconsin
The Premier Sires Regional Rewards program is designed to recognize the achievements of horses and exhibitors who are competing at the state and regional events, giving them a chance to compete for elite prizes while supporting the weekend and regional shows.
ELIGIBILITY
All Premier Sires horses are eligible to participate. Horses born in or before 2017 are eligible as long as the horse’s sire is currently enrolled in Premier Sires. Horses born in or after 2018 must be enrolled in Premier Sires.
THE DETAILS
In order to keep the Regional Rewards program from becoming a “trailer race,” the exhibitor may select up to 5 shows within their region to count towards their year end point total. No more than 4 of the 5 shows may be in the same state. The exhibitor will be required to submit official AQHA results to Premier Sires at the end of hte year for the 5 shows they would like counted. Points will be calculated based on placings regardless of class size (this is so that the smaller shows, whose success and survival is vital to our industry are weighted equally with the larger state and regional level shows):
1st Place – 10 points
2nd Place – 9 points
3rd Place – 8 points
4th Place – 7 points
5th Place – 6 points
6th Place – 5 points
7th Place – 4 points
8th Place – 3 points
9th Place – 2 points
10th Place – 1 point
In the event of a tie in points, the tiebreaker will be determined by the total number of entries the exhibitor placed higher than in the qualifying classes at their 5 shows.
